| If you get past season 1, you’ll love it | |
| Alright, alright.. I got to admit Season 1’s acting is awful. I tried it before and couldn’t bear to watch it because Clary and Jace acting was terrible. However, after hitting a dead end on what to watch, I ended up giving shadow hunters a second shot. And, I loved it. The plot is rather repetitive with the whole parabatai thing between Jace and Alec. And you can clearly see throughout all 4 seasons that Alec cares way more for Jace. Whereas Jace, always priorities Clary. I was kind of shocked with Clary and Jace’s plot. There were so many plot twist between them and let me tell you I didn’t see any of them coming. I sort of sad we don’t talk as much about the angelic powers, or poor ithuriel. However, Alec and Magnus storyline is absolutely beautiful. I am so happy of how they grew throughout the seasons and their ending was so satisfying <3 Other characters I liked were obviously Izzy and Simon, even though their plot line was not as elaborated as others. The intense friendship between Clary and Simon from season 1, seemed to be completely gone after the first season. I even forgot about it and only realised they were best friends during occasional hugging scenes. Well, all in all, I highly recommend this Tvshow. You’ll have a hard time with the first season but I promise it’s a worthy fantasy show! | |
