A classic you can't miss
I remember first reading Pride and Prejudice in English literature class in high school. This was the turning point for me. The poignant story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy immensely influenced my views on 'pride and prejudice'. Haha. It showed how despite his hasty judgements on the Bennet Family, Darcy still couldn't stop loving Elizabeth. Even though he was torn because of his pride, he still ends up ignoring status and money to see Elizabeth as who she is and not her status or background. The scene I like the most in the book is where he actually reveals all of his feelings to Elizabeth in those ruins while it was raining. It's the turning point of the book to me as he finally realises that when you are in love, money nor status matter. This is a must read and you should absolutely check it out.
